HISTORY

I allways wanted to find the rare model of GS estate equiped with the 1015 cc engine. This car had been flagged to me by Michel, an old car collector from Sisteron. His neighbour had informed him of his desire to sell a GS that he had inherited. It was located one hour by road near Veynes.
On first viewing, the car appeared to fit the criteria of the museum. The “high” mileage and a repainted wing made me hesitate. Despite all this, the fact that it was an estate car of the first model and coming from the same region made me load it on the trailer. After 30 years of immobility, recommissioning did not pose any problems, along with a complete overhaul of the mechanical part.
