HISTORY:

In 1972, an old lady decided to obtain her driving license and ordered this AMI 8 in order to take driving lessons and so get used to the car.
It was a wise decision to tick the option of the centrifugal clutch, as this prevents stalling the engine.
Despite this, the centrifugal clutch and eight lessons were not enough to allow her to get the license, and so the AMI 8 was put away until the death of the owner, 20 years later.
A neighbouring collector of all types of cars recovered it, but after his garage was robbed and vandalized, he decided to sell the AMI 8 and placed an advertisement (attached). I bought it without keys and with its registration documents stolen, but inside I discover some other documents (attached): the map of Lagny which would have helped the owner pass the driving test; the card of the driving school of Mr Bouleux and the sheet of the 8 driving lessons. The last lesson given by Mr Bouleux must have ended in failure, hence the very low mileage.
