HISTORY:

Citroen Auxerre received this car in April 1989, just one month before the arrival of the new XM. The CX became unsaleable, the company registered it to its name and kept it in the basement during 17 years. The dealer Mr Debusquois contacted me and I discovered it in January 2006, but we did not agree up on the price of 15 000 euros, at that time I couldn’t afford it (I just bought the purple DS Cabriolet!).
One year later, a Dutch merchant came to visit the museum and suggested me to buy it.
Then I couldn’t resist, scared to lose it for good.
But the price was not the same anymore, I had to pay 10 000 euros and gave 2 SM’s and 4 CX’s, all driveable! Gladly, it still had 62 km on the speedometer, it was transported on a trailer from Auxerre to Utrecht. I also put it on a trailer from Utrecht to Castellane, so the milage is still unchanged.
