HISTORY:

Mrs Tessier ordered this AX as a replacement for her faithful 1960 2CV with centrifugal clutch. With this 2CV, it is impossible to stall. After around 150kms in the new AX, she cannot go anywhere without stalling, being used to her old 2CV. After 170kms of stress, she decided to no longer use the AX and stored it next to her old 2CV.
On her death 22 years later, her sister contacted the local Renault garage in the north of Le Mans to sell these 2 Citroens (why not?). The agent Mr Heurtaut kept the 2CV to restore it and advertised the AX on the internet. Mr Santacruz of the Provence 2CV Club was kind enough to make me aware of the advert and my friend Alain Pitot from Orléans went to see the car before I travelled through France. This AX remains the only car that I have bought from Renault.
