HISTORY:

The Citroen dealer from Corbeil used to always visit his potential clients in a DS estate. This technique was common at the time, of offering new models at home to likely suitable customers. In 1987, he came to offer this limited edi-tion BX to a retired gentleman, Mr Ribassin. He chose the rare colour of ‘bleu romantique’ instead of the more common grey colour. He went on to drive it very little, only covering 3000kms in 22 years.
Mr Tissier, a fan of the BX model, knew this car well as it was from very close to his home. He acquired it and added another 3000kms. He decided to sell It in the classifieds in 2016.
I asked a Parisian friend of mine, Eric Chandonnay, to go to meet him. He has the same high standards as me and gave me the green light for this car in near-new condition. Mr Tissier, happy that the car was going to my museum, was kind enough to organize transport on the Paris to Frejus train.
